Richford Health Center, Inc. d/b/a NOTCH, has sponsored Richford Day Camp, a five week summer program that promotes healthy eating and exercise habits for children ages 0-18 yrs, for over a decade. In 2008, camp provided nutritious meals, snacks, and outdoor activities for about 160 children per day.

This year, NOTCH administration was approached by an ambitious local fitness instructor who expressed her appreciation for day camp and offered to organize a fundraiser to help support it. The 1st Annual Richford Day Camp Walk-a-thon was held May 16th on the Rail Trail beginning at Richford Elementary School. Twenty people participated in the 5 mile walk, which raised nearly $1,300.00 for Richford Day Camp.
